BOTANICAL PLASTER CAST WORKSHOP l 2 HOURS l £60 pp
Immerse yourself in a creative & meditative experience as you craft your own botanical plaster cast using fresh flowers & foliage. No previous experience necessary!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
The workshop begins with a relaxed, step-by-step demonstration, where you’ll learn how to prepare and roll out clay to form the base for your artwork. You’ll then arrange fresh flowers and foliage on the surface, pressing them into the clay to capture all the delicate textures & details. Feel free to bring flowers from your own garden for a personal touch.
Once your botanical design is complete, you’ll create a mould and pour plaster over your clay impression. While the plaster sets (about 30 minutes), we’ll pause for some light refreshments and you’ll be guided through how to finish your piece. Then to the exciting part of pealing away the clay to reveal your beautiful floral cast - pure magic!
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or trying something new- this calming, hands-on workshop offers a mindful escape and a beautiful, one-of-a-kind artwork to take home.

GOOD TO KNOW: You will be in a workshop environment, so please wear practical clothes & footwear that you don't mind getting a little messy.
Due to the nature of this workshop the finished result will be ever changing with the seasons.
