FAQs
How can I book a pottery class?
Bookings can be made via our online booking system. To check availability and book please click here.
When are you open?
Our workshops typically run Friday - Sunday. Midweek classes can be arranged upon request, please email or call to enquire.
What should I wear?
Pottery is a messy business - please wear clothes you don't mind getting a little clay splattered along with suitable footwear, (the clay doesn’t stain and will wash easily out). Aprons are provided for you use.
For health & safety, we ask that long hair is tied back and rings/watches/bracelets are removed before using the potter’s wheel. You may also wish to trim long nails as they can get in the way of your creative expression!
Can my child/children attend a class with me?
Our minimum age for our potter’s wheel workshops is 7+ years. We ask that under 16s are supervised at all times by a parent or guardian while at the studio.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Yes! The studio has disability access via a ramp at the main entrance, and our potter’s wheels are suitable for wheelchair users. However, our WC facilities are not wheelchair accessible. If you have restricted mobility or any other disability you’d like us to be aware of, please let us know on the booking form, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Are dogs allowed?
We do not allow customers to bring dogs, except for registered guide dogs as other participants may have allergies or be uncomfortable around animals. On rare occasions, our lovable pooch ‘Harry Potter’ may make an appearance, but we always check that everyone is comfortable before he visits!
Where can I park?
Free on-street parking is available on the High Street or a short walk from the studio.
