HEN PARTIES

Creative fun for groups of all ages. Whether a Hen, Sten or Stag - our parties make for a truly memorable experience, with plenty of laughs, innuendo and photo opportunities!

A pottery party is perfect for a mixed age group or an arty bride/groom-to-be. Beginner friendly so no experience is required, demonstration and expert help from your very own Patrick Swayze is at hand throughout! Suitable for groups up to 25 people. Bride/groom goes free for groups 10+.

Channel your inner Demi Moore as you spin pots on the potter’s wheel, crafting beautiful pieces & memories to cherish! Demonstration on how to get started, along with expert tuition on hand throughout the session. Create some truly unique pieces from bowls, dishes, vases to cups and more, using as much clay as you like.

After getting cleaned up, you can chose your best pot to take away on the day, which can be left to airdry at home and painted if you wish for a lasting memento of your day! (Additional pots charged at £3).

Perfect for small groups, (up to 10 people) you'll each have your own potter’s wheel for the duration. Or large groups can share 10 or 16 wheels, switching between spectating, taking photos and getting messy!

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • 1.5 hour pottery experience at our beautiful countryside studio.

  • All materials, tools & aprons.

  • Unlimited supply of clay.

  • Demonstration and expert help on hand throughout.

  • A pot each to keep (pots will be boxed up for you).

COST:

  • £64 pp for the first 10 people & £35 for each additional person beyond 10 sharing a wheel.

  • Groups of 16+ have the option of exclusive hire of the entire studio space (spread over two connected spaces, 10 wheels in our main room & 6 wheels in our smaller throwing room). Sharing rate of £35 pp applies to numbers over 16 in this case. Max numbers of 25.

HOW TO BOOK:

  • Please get in touch via our contact form and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible.

GOOD TO KNOW:

  • You will be in a workshop environment, so please wear practical clothes/footwear that you don't mind getting a little messy, (the clay doesn’t stain and will wash out easily). Feel free to bring your own aprons or use ours should you prefer.

  • Due to health & safety, food and alcoholic drinks are not permitted in the studio. We ask that long hair is tied back (please bring a bobble). Rings/watches/bracelets should be removed before using the potter’s wheel, so please leave valuables at home where possible.

  • Exclusive hire of our main studio space is given to groups of 10 and above. There may be a chance smaller groups of under 10 people will share the class with other participants.
