POTTER’S WHEEL HALF DAY WORKSHOP | 3 HOURS l £110pp

Learning to throw pots is immensely satisfying. Come and immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings of the North Cotswolds on this Half Day Throwing Workshop.

Suitable for beginners & those who wish to dig a little deeper to expand their technical knowledge & throwing skills. Individuals, couples & groups welcome.

After a warm welcome, you will be seated at your potter’s wheel and watch a demonstration given by one of our expert potters. Your instructor will then guide everyone through each of the five steps again as you get to grips with handling the clay. After you’re up and running, you can relax and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of throwing at your own pace (with as much or little tuition as required). At the half way point, you can see a second demonstration, showing you how to throw with larger pieces of clay and troubleshoot anything you may be finding tricky. You may create as many pots as you wish of all shapes and sizes, using as much clay as you like!

At the end of the class, you can chose two of your favourite pots to take home (we'll box them up for you). Additional pots can be taken for a small fee of £3 each. Let them dry naturally at home and they can be painted if you wish!
